Shriya started her career acting in music albums. She made her debut in the Telugu Movie Istham a box office hit. After that she performed in many successful films with prominent actors. She is also performing in Tamil. In the year 2007, Shriya became a national figure, becasue of her performance in the movie Sivaji with Rjinikanth.
